CLOTHING DONATIONS - PLEASE BAG ‘EM!
We respectfully request that you please bag any clothing donations that you drop off. Loose items take longer to deal with and also make lovely bedding for rodents. Thanks for your help and keep those donations coming (ESPECIALLY MEN’S!!!!!)!
Clothing Room Wish List
- SOCKS (we are in desperate need of socks!)
- Men’s water repellant gloves (sizes L and XL)
- Men’s jeans (sizes 34 and 38)
- Men’s sneaker/boots (sizes 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13)
- Toiletries (travel size toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, shampoo, conditioner, soap, mouthwash, etc.)
- NO WOMEN’S CLOTHING!!!!
General Information
Hours of Operation: 9:30—10:00am (all guests on line by 10:00am will be admitted)
Volunteer Hours: 8:45am—11:00am

Volunteers are needed each Sunday to assist with sorting clothing prior to opening and distributing clothing during the hours of operation

Anyone interested in assisting with sorting clothing during the week or transporting clothing to other sites should contact Bob or Ann Mary for more info
Donation guidelines:
ALL Donations must be new or gently used! Ripped, faded, frayed, or stained items are not accepted—if you wouldn’t wear it, we don’t want it!

- Large sizes especially needed
- Socks and underwear MUST BE NEW and in unopened packages!!
- Bed and Bath Linens
- Blankets
- Sheet sets
- Towels
- Toiletries
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Soap
- Toothbrushes & Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Combs
- Travel sizes preferred
- Unopened items only!
The Clothing Room DOES NOT accept:
- Toys
- Books (see Shelter page for info about donating books)
- Electronics (see Shelter page for info about donating electronics)
- Household Items (see Shelter page for info about donating household items)
- Place all donations in the large white bin on the basement level (to the left as you exit the elevator).
Please do not leave donations on the floor.
All donations must be secured in plastic or paper bags.
Please do not throw loose items into the bin.

Please note that St. Francis Xavier does not estimate the value of your donation.
